A new film made with Catriona Bisset - Thursday, July 4th at Collingwood Yards
Myself and 800m Olympic athlete and architect @catrionabisset made a film and are hosting a screening this Thursday, July 4th, 6.00pm at @collingwood_yards (In Melbourne).
Making this film, emphasised how much I love to make work at the intersection of constant movement and slowing down to focus on details and nuance.
If you are in town and about, I’d love to see you there. Grab a ticket above.
“Rain on Tartan,” is a short film by photographer and filmmaker Ben Clement (👋), in collaboration with Olympic athlete Catriona Bisset. Created as part of Catriona’s independent master’s thesis in architecture, this 10-minute film delves into the connections between athletic tracks, public spaces, and the surrounding landscape. Set at a public track in the city of Naarm/Melbourne, with an original score from @raudie_mcleod, “Rain on Tartan” offers a exploration of how these environments shape and are reshaped by human movement and interaction.
Music by @raudie_mcleod
Color by @soccermums
